Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Zanzibar – Nyerere (Selous) National Park – Zanzibar

05:00 AM - Morning Pickup: Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup and transfer to Zanzibar Airport.

06:00 AM - Flight to Nyerere: Take a short flight from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park (Selous).

07:30 AM - Arrival in Nyerere: Meet your experienced safari guide and depart for your first game drive.

07:30 AM - 12:30 PM - Morning Game Drive: Explore the vast grasslands and diverse ecosystems of Nyerere. Search for herds of elephants walking through the savanna, lions resting under acacia trees, hippos wallowing in the river, and buffaloes grazing in the distance. Keep your camera ready for crocodiles basking on the riverbanks and a variety of bird species including African skimmers, kingfishers, and ground hornbills!

12:30 PM - Picnic Lunch: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a scenic picnic site within the park, surrounded by nature.

02:00 PM - 04:00 PM - Boat Safari on Rufiji River: Experience the unique opportunity to explore the park by boat. 04:30 PM - Transfer to Airport: Drive to Nyerere airstrip for your return flight.
